Cayman Islands Introduces New Digital Nomad Program – Allwork.Space

The Cayman Islands has introduced a new digital nomad program, which allows traveling professionals to access the region’s sandy beaches and lush accommodations without a visa.

The Global Citizen Concierge Program allows digital nomads to work from the Caribbean island for up to 90 days, dependent on having an income of over $100,000, proof of employment, health insurance, and more.

“There’s nothing quite like starting the working day with a swim in the warm Caribbean waters, kayaking between Zoom meetings, or even taking the office to the beach,” said Adrian White, regional manager of the Cayman Islands Department of Tourism.

At the moment, the Cayman Islands is requiring travelers to test negative for Covid-19 before departing, as well as on their second, fifth, and tenth day of their stay.

Although the islands reopened quarantine-free travel to fully vaccinated people in November, the CDC has designated the area as “very high” risk for exposure.
