MILL HALL — State police at Lamar are investigating an armed robbery that took place on Dec. 20 at a massage parlor in Mill Hall.
According to police, the armed robbery occurred at 7:40 p.m. at the Mulan Massage and Spa, 1354 Dotterers Road in Porter Township, Clinton County.
Police say that the first suspect, a black male, approximately 6-foot-5 and skinny, came in for a massage. He was wearing a black jacket, black pants, white socks and black shoes. He laid on his back for the massage and was using his cell phone after paying for the massage.
The victim related that she recognized the suspect from previous massages and believes he drives a big truck and may be from the Houston, Texas, area.
After a short time, the victim heard the bells for the front door and when she walked out of the room, she was met by the second suspect, a black, non-hispanic male described as approximately 6 feet tall. He was also skinny, the report said. He was wearing all black clothing, along with a black mask and black gloves.
The victim related that the second suspect grabbed her by the neck, pointed a gun at the back of her head and demanded her to give him money. The victim related that she showed the suspects where the money was and they took approximately $700 cash along with her iPhone.
The men then taped the victim’s hands and feet together and left her in the back of the business. Both suspects fled the scene in an unknown direction. After approximately 15 to 20 minutes, the victim was able to escape and called 911. The victim was not injured during the incident, according to police.
